BatchGPT ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our") provides a batch processing platform that enables users to upload CSV or XLS files, test AI prompts on sample data, and execute large-scale AI processing jobs using OpenAI's language models.

Our Service includes:

File upload and management capabilities for CSV and XLS formats
Prompt testing functionality on sample data rows
Batch processing of large datasets using AI models
Structured output generation and data export features
Credit-based billing system for usage tracking

2. User Responsibilities

By using BatchGPT, you agree to:

Provide accurate information during account registration
Maintain the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
Ensure you have the legal right to upload and process all data submitted to our Service
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
Use the Service only for lawful business purposes
Monitor your usage and credit consumption
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are solely responsible for all data uploaded to the Platform and any consequences arising from the processing of such data.

3. Data Processing and AI Usage

BatchGPT processes your uploaded data using OpenAI's language models (GPT-5, GPT-5 Mini, GPT-5 Nano). By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

Your data will be transmitted to and processed by OpenAI's systems
AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies
You should review and validate all AI-generated results before use
We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs
Processing times may vary based on system load and data complexity

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data during processing, but you remain responsible for ensuring the suitability of our Service for your specific use cases and compliance requirements.

4. Payment Terms (Credits System)

BatchGPT operates on a credit-based billing system:

Credit Purchase and Usage

Credits must be purchased before submitting batch processing jobs
Credits are deducted based on actual API usage and processing costs
Unused credits remain in your account for future use
We provide cost estimates before job submission, but actual costs may vary

Refunds and Billing

Credits are non-refundable except in cases of technical failures on our part
Failed jobs due to system errors will result in credit refunds
All payments are processed through our secure payment partner, Creem
You will receive email receipts for all credit purchases

5. Prohibited Uses

You may not use BatchGPT for:

Processing illegal, harmful, or malicious content
Violating intellectual property rights of third parties
Generating spam, misleading content, or deepfakes
Processing personal data without proper legal basis and consent
Attempting to reverse engineer or compromise our systems
Violating OpenAI's usage policies or any applicable AI ethics guidelines
Reselling or redistributing our Service without explicit permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in activities that may harm our Service or other users.

6. Service Availability

While we strive to maintain high availability, BatchGPT is provided on an "as-is" basis:

We make reasonable efforts to maintain service availability
Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
Service interruptions may occur due to third-party dependencies (OpenAI, Supabase)
We will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly during outages
Batch jobs are guaranteed to complete within 24 hours when submitted

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

BatchGPT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months
We are not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits
You acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate and should be validated
We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated outputs

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

8. Account Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

User Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the platform
Unused credits will be forfeited upon account deletion
You remain responsible for all charges incurred before termination

Service Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations
30 days notice will be provided for non-breach terminations
Data export assistance will be provided during the notice period
We reserve the right to immediate termination for severe violations

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time:

Material changes will be communicated via email and platform notifications
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance
You may terminate your account if you disagree with updated terms
The "Last Updated" date indicates when changes were made

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea:

Any disputes may be resolved through good-faith negotiation first
Courts in Seoul, Republic of Korea have jurisdiction over any legal proceedings
You may pursue alternative dispute resolution for eligible claims
